BDB NY was originally Bailey Doesn’t Bark, named after our Brussels Griffon who truly didn’t bark for a while. In the early years, I delved into ceramics, paper goods, textiles, jewelry and even home fragrances. Dipped my toes into outsourcing production by partnering with US based manufactures and artisans around the world. Few years later, I focused mainly on ceramics and eventually circled back to where I began; making art by hand.
My work is ever changing and what I make now may not be the same in a few years. I am sure of today and today, alongside BDB NY, I am exploring sculptural art forms where I present my work under my name, Re Jin Lee.
While the usual functional and sculptural pieces are branded BDB NY, the newest art forms will be branded Re Jin Lee. Everything will be presented under Re Jin Lee at www.rejinlee.com.
