EXHIBITIONS
Solo and Two-person Exhibitions
IN BLOOM | Arden + White Gallery, curated by Cas Friese, March 16 - April 30, 2023
Deviating from Lee’s popularized geometric stacked and abstract forms, the artist’s playful collection of unique plant-like sculptures addresses her connection to nature through clay. The botanical shapes are potted in a common form as it relates to the material.
THE SUBLIME | Arden + White Gallery, curated by Cas Friese - June 3 - August 10, 2022
A two-person exhibition with Cleveland, OH-based artist Laura Naples and Pound Ridge, NY-based sculptor Re Jin Lee. Together the artist’s works coalesced, transcending the viewer into an ethereal sanctuary, simultaneously enveloped by gentle geometric forms emerging from both mediums.
FORMED | Arden + White Gallery, formerly CAS Gallery, Fall 2021
This two-person show combines photography by Cas Frieses, capturing nature’s dynamic artwork, alongside fluid sculptures, by Re Jin Lee shaped by hand using the elements of nature. The raw materials surrounding the artwork carry a sense of place.
